On October 7, 2020, Boxlight UK and EMEA held its first virtual event for Partners. The event began with Boxlight CEO Michael Pope and Sahara CEO Mark Starkey sharing the combined mission and vision for the company. The acquisition of Sahara Presentation Systems PLC will greatly strengthen the presence in the technology solutions markets globally. Michael and Mark helped set the tone for the rest of this inaugural event, reinforcing that Boxlight is in a powerful position to become the leader in education technology worldwide.
This was followed by updates and highlights from Dan Leis, SVP of Global Sales and Marketing for Boxlight and Shaun Marklew, Group Sales and Product Director for Sahara. They shared their vision for the connected classroom and how all of our products come together as a complete learning solution.
Dermot Sweeney, VP of EMEA Sales and Marketing, shared what continues to make Boxlight solutions the go-to company for innovation and complete learning and training products for users. Dermot emphasized that the company brings together proprietary hardware, software, STEM solutions and training to provide everything that the instructor needs.
Boxlight is committed to ‘Better solutions. Better results’ and our education technology solutions are helping us stand out in the market. A bulk of the virtual event was spent describing Boxlight solutions: MimioConnect, the IFPD and collaboration bundles (OKTOPUS and MimioStudio), Professional Development, STEM offerings such as Robo 3D and Mimio MyBot, front-of-class Mimio solutions, and MTR/Teams training.
