      Aliza's Farewell

      It is with a heavy heart that I am making this announcement.  My last day with the Mimio family will be July 31 st - one week from today.  I have an opportunity travel for 2+ months and I don’t know another time the stars will align to go on such an adventure.

       

      I have truly enjoyed my time here, and in a lot of ways have grown up at Mimio -- with amazing colleagues and Reseller Partners to support me.  By listening to your needs, I hope I made adjustments to our Partner Program, communication methods, Partner Resources, etc., to better foster your Mimio Business.  The last Partner Survey we did showed an increase in satisfaction in loyalty, marketing support (including Partner Resources) and communication.  I have learned so much from you and want to say thank you – you’ve helped me grow as a person and a professional! 

       

      I am in the process of handing responsibilities over to the team here and am committed to this being a seamless transition as someone new comes into this role.  The success of Mimio and your business is very important to me!

      Purchase Order Processing Update

      We are having some issues with Purchase Orders sent to us with incorrect shipping addresses.  Therefore, please verify the shipping details are correct on the PO prior to submitting it to Mimio

      When we ship an order to an incorrect address, Mimio is charged by our shipping agents to correct the address, and deliver the package properly.  Please note effective tomorrow, July 1st, if we receive a wrong shipping address via a PO, we will pass any address correction fees incurred plus a $20 service fee onto you.

      Partner Assessment - Due May 31st!

      You have less than a week left to pass our Partner Assessment!  All of our reseller partners’ sales reps are required to pass our updated 25-question assessment by May 31, 2014.  Each Mimio Reseller Partner Sales Rep must score 80% or higher (answer 20 questions correctly) to pass.

      Per the Authorized Reseller Partner Program commitment, if even one of your sales reps fails to complete this onboarding certification by May 31st, we will suspend your account until you are back in compliance.

      After the release of MimioStudio 11 and MimioMobile 2, we wanted to provide you some time to use and understand the software updates before taking the updated Partner Assessment.       Awesome Material on Partner Resources

      So, I know Partner Resouces can be a little overwhelming with the vast array of materials available to support your Mimio business.  We thought it may come in handy to highlight a few things that we feel would really benefit you.

      Within Sales Support (section supporting sales activities), we want to highlight:

      • Sales Demo Material - Mimio has created a modular demo and subject/product focused demos in .ink files to use during customer demos and tailor to suit your audience.

      Within Marketing Resources (section supporting marketing activities), the main marketing materials we want to highlight include:

      • Product Launch Kits - To support our partners when launching new products, Mimio has developed a comprehensive set of promotional tools, such as the product sell sheet, press release, product photography and product video, all available in one easy download.
      • Logos, Fonts and Graphics - This part includes some of the basic elements you need to create your own marketing materials for Mimio, including Mimio company logos.
      • Photography – The photography section includes an extensive image library that includes product shots and product-in-use photos, in both high and low resolution to add to your website, catalogue or brochures.

      Thought a little refresher on Friday afternoon of what's available on Partner Resources was due.  I  hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

      List of Mimio Certified Trainers for YOU!

      In our last Partner Webinar, we explained some changes that were made to our training program.  We will be discussing some updates to the training program during our Partner Webinar next week, but didn’t want to wait until then to provide you with a list of Mimio Certified Trainers.  These trainers have agreed to be on this list and contacted by you if you would like to contract with them directly to set up trainings on Mimio products for your Mimio customers.  See below for some more information about this list of Certified Trainers:

      • Trainers were certified at some point since the start of the Mimio Certified Training Program.
      • Cost and logistics will be managed directly between you and the Certified Trainers.
      • Partners do not need to reach out to Mimio to make arrangements with the Certified Trainers.
