Each year, thousands of teachers, administrators, ed tech leaders, and thought leaders gather for the NYSCATE Annual Conference. At the conference, attendees have an opportunity to listen to special guests speak on where educational technology is going and what to expect in the future. This year, in lieu of a traditional conference, NYSCATE 2020 will be going virtual!

Boxlight — Better solutions. Better results.

Boxlight will be a part of this first-ever virtual NYSCATE conference, showcasing its innovating teaching tools — including the MimioConnect® blended learning platform — that support teaching and learning in any environment, including hybrid learning. What are a few of the Boxlight solutions that will be featured at NYSCATE?

      • MimioConnect is a simple-to-use learning platform that boosts student engagement and active participation via interactive question types, videoconferencing capabilities, and class management tools.
      • MimioSTEM solutions give educators a variety of options to encourage consistent and engaging STEM instruction. Learn about hands-on STEM options like Mimio MyBot and Labdisc portable STEM labs. Explore MyStemKits standards-driven curriculum and their newly launched Virtual STEM Kits.
      • MimioClarity classroom audio distribution system helps to ensure that each student can hear what the teacher is saying, wherever they are in the class. This is especially important as teachers and students wear masks where voices can get muffled. With MimioClarity, carry on class discussions where ideas are shared and heard.

Boxlight is also promoting its MimioView document camera by giving attendees an opportunity to win one! The MimioView doc camera is a versatile tool for in-class and remote teaching. (For ideas on how to use a doc camera, read 8 Tips for Using a Document Camera in a Socially Distanced Classroom.)

In addition, we’ll have Andy Pennington, Head of Connected Classroom, doing a live demo of Boxlight Continuum on Monday, November 23 at 10:00 AM EST. Learn how to improve your learning environment so that students don’t miss out when unexpected challenges are thrown your way.

NYSCATE sounds like it will be an exciting event for all involved. Hopefully we “see you there” at NYSCATE 2020, November 21-24.
