We’re very pleased to announce the release of MimioStudio 11.1 software on the website. This important software release adds enforcement of software licenses to MimioStudio. With this update, there are several items your customers may have questions about when they update to MimioStudio 11.1 which we wanted to make you aware of:
- We are no longer including license codes with hardware purchases. Connecting the hardware to the computer will continue to activate MimioStudio software.
- Due to the above, we have enabled additional features in the limited version (Gallery and Activity Wizard) to support content creation for Mimio Home users.
- All NEW MimioMobile or MimioStudio license codes will only work with MimioStudio 11.1. If the customer needs a license code for a previous version (prior to 11.1), they will need to contact customer support and we will fulfill that request. It should be noted that all previously distributed license codes will continue to work with MimioStudio 11.1.
- If the user does not either connect to the internet which automatically verifies User or Site licenses or connect a Mimio hardware device, then their MimioStudio software will revert back to the Limited version after a period of 15 days.
