      Consolidation of Boxlight Partner Sites

Posted by Boxlight on May 4, 2020 12:00:00 PM

In an effort to improve user experience, the Partner Resources site will be consolidated from two portals – North American portal and global portal – to one. This means that users going to the old platform/site on Boxlight.com or mimio.boxlight.com will be redirected to the new site.

The new Partner Resources site has a more expansive view, making it easier to view all the Boxlight resources available thus improving user experience.

The consolidated site will include content on the new Distance Teaching Essentials (DTE) and Platform Essentials (PE) programs. These programs are designed to help educators succeed with distance learning by providing purposeful, easy to access professional development and teaching tools.

Product News: COVID-19 Cleaning IFP Screens

Posted by Hank Nance on Mar 10, 2020 10:29:32 AM

We are committed to keeping our schools, teachers and students safe and protected from the COVID-19 virus.

We learned that the CDC (Center for Disease Control, https://www.cdc.gov/ ) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency, https://www.epa.gov/) have declared that 70% isopropyl alcohol is an effective product for disinfecting against COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, H1N1, and other Influenza A viruses.

They have published registries of over 500 antimicrobial products and formulations that can be used to disinfect in which 70% isopropyl alcohol is included.

The cleaning procedure is as follows:

      1. Apply 70% isopropyl alcohol to microfiber cloth
      2. Wipe down panel making sure to avoid input/output connector cavities
      3. Allow to dry before touching the panel again.

We have confirmed that the 70% isoproply alcohol is safe to use on our interactive flat panel surface. In addition, 90% ethanol can also be used to disinfect the panel.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Boxlight Customer Care team at customercare@boxlight.com.

Product News: MimioView HD End-of-Life Plan

Posted by Hank Nance on Nov 11, 2019 1:47:00 PM

All end-of-life (EOL) and replacement plans are inherently tentative. If manufacturing is delayed, so is the new product introduction and the announcement of its availability. If unit sales of the current product do not meet our forecast, then we keep selling it longer than initially planned (and so on).
