      ALERT: Doppleganger Domain/phishing attempt

      Recently, it has come to our attention that some of our partners have received emails from email addresses which have some of our employee’s names followed by “@boxljght.com”(This is Boxlight, but spelled with a j in place of the i). The body of the emails are intended to engage the recipient so that the sender may obtain additional information. They may also tell the recipient that there are new banking details they should be made aware of to remit payment to.  If you receive an email like this, please do not engage with the sender.  To our knowledge, the sender has obtained the name of the employee, and the recipient’s email from a combination of social engineering and information that is publicly available.

      Boxlight has signed an exclusive, global agreement with Multi Touch Interactives (MTI), an international software development company, to create the next generation of interactive educational activities for large format horizontal and vertical classroom-based touchscreens.

      Effective immediately, MTI will begin developing activities designed for early elementary and special needs education, and intends to have a solid and versatile platform onto which rich, educational collaborative applications will be built for many years to come. The apps will run exclusively for, and in, the Windows 10 environment and will be designed and produced sequentially, while allowing educators to create their own or modify existing activities.

      coho_logoBoxlight Corporation (Nasdaq: BOXL), a leading provider of interactive technology solutions for the global education market, today announced it has completed the acquisition of United Kingdom-based Cohuborate Ltd. (“Cohuba"), from a family trust of Tony Cann, founder of Promethean. Cohuba is a developer of touch display technology for the education, business and government markets. Boxlight acquired Cohuba for approximately $1.8 million through the issuance of 257,200 shares of common stock at a price of $7 per share.

      “The transaction is part of our continued effort to supplement our organic sales growth with strategic acquisitions that accelerate our ability to distribute our solutions globally,” said Michael Pope, president of Boxlight. “Cohuba brings a seasoned sales and operational team and a strong network of reseller partners with decades of experience selling technology solutions into the United Kingdom.”
