Dear Partners,

During a September meeting in Cambridge the US Territory Managers strongly requested that headquarters initiate regular con calls with our partners. Their request was both wise and right.

We are excited to announce the launch of our Partner Conference Call Program and advise you of the first three dates.

Schedule: Every six-ish weeks for a while then extend to 8-ish. 

Implementation: An audio call with desktop sharing for the slides. The exact time plus dial in and webcast details will go out a few days ahead of each call.

Time and Day: These calls will serve Partners across 5 time zones from Boston to Hawaii so there is likely no perfect time and no week has the perfect day for everyone.  Please fill out the survey below to provide input on time and day.

As you may be aware, Steve Mefford is no longer with Mimio, effective January 22, 2016. 

Steve was with Mimio for 10 years, and in addition, sold Mimio through a reseller for 4 years prior to that. He was a valued and long-time member of the Mimio team.

In the interim, his responsibilities will be covered by Jenni Howell and Stevan Vigneaux. If you have any questions, please contact your local sales representative. 

To provide focused leadership along with a strong vision for Mimio’s future our long-time Director of Engineering, Chris Leonardo, and Chief Technology Officer, Dan Winkler, have been appointed co-presidents.

Whiteboard Flatness Tester Has SKU# and Pricing

We know the challenges of determining whether a touch projector is the right choice for your customers, especially since the whiteboard it uses must be laser-flat. While we provided flatness testers through our reps in the past, we wanted to make the process of acquiring the tester even easier.

We've created a new white paper to assist you and your customers in the challenging task of selecting a whiteboard for a touch projector. This valuable white paper includes an overview of the laser-curtain touch technology, explains the difference between flat and laser-flat, and provides key items to consider concerning installation.

We regret to inform you that the carrying case will no longer be included in the purchase of MimioVote™ assessment because our supplier is no longer producing the case. This change will be effective once we run out of the current inventory that includes the case. We anticipate the inventory of the current SKU to be depleted by early January.

We are excited to announce the release of the newest version of our award-winning MimioMobile™ application, MimioMobile for the Web. Available through a (compatible) Web browser at mobile.mimio.com, the Web application enables educators to deliver collaborative lessons and assessments to an entire class. This release, coupled with the existing Apple and Android apps, allows the MimioMobile app to work on virtually any device the student may have in the classroom: tablets, smartphones, and laptops (including Chromebooks).
